The Post-it Notes app is ideal for taking notes during meetings and brainstorming sessions.
It can capture your handwriting or your drawings. You can scan paper versions of the notes in the app. You can capture up to 200 notes and then easily digitize them to reduce the time you spend transcribing them.
But I prefer to type directly into the app. You can change the font to simple, scribble (handwritten), old school (typewriter), and marker (felt-tip pen). You can align your text left, center and right. The formatting options are limited to changing the text of the paragraph to a numbered list, periods or dashes. The pen color options are black, red, green, blue, and an eraser.
Until you have mastered the app, it is convenient to use the undo button and eraser as needed.
Then you can select your favorite color for the note. You can also change the shape from square to rectangle and size. Then you can move the notes and organize them into groups.
I used the Post-it Notes app to keep track of my daily to-do list, runs, and current goals. I like being able to color code the notes. Just click on the box in the left corner and select one of the 15 colors.
Then you can share your brainstorming sessions with your colleagues, family or friends on a central group board.
âMillions of people use Post-it App on all of their devices to capture and share their physical and digital Post-it Notes,â said Heather Green, Global Business Vice President, Post-it Brand. âThe brainstorming session mimics the fluid, in-person collaborative experience that allows for an uninterrupted exchange of ideas, all within a shared platform and canvas. Notes are added to the shared canvas when the creator judges the time is right or the thought is over to help simulate the in-person experience.
âWorking together, even when apart, is much easier with the Post-it Notes app, giving millions of users a seamless way to digitally capture physical notes and share them with teams without delay,â said Heather Green, Global Portfolio Manager, Post-it Brand. âWith the new integration with Miro, teams can extend the possibilities of remote collaboration to grow and realize their ideas from start to finish. “
There is a handy store icon in the upper right corner, where you will be tempted to shop for colorful paper stickers. You will only use yellow tights.
The Post-it Notes app simplifies your options – so it’s easy to learn and perfect for small notes.
The Post-it Notes app is available as a free download from the Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS, and Mac App Store for macOS Catalina.
