Who is Interior Design Masters Judge Michelle Ogundehin?

FORMER ELLE Decoration Editor-in-Chief Michelle Ogundehin is back on our screens for a third season of Interior Design Masters as Chief Judge.

The Manchester-born star has become internationally recognized as a thought leader on interiors, wellbeing, trends and style.

Who is Michelle Ogundehin?

Michelle Ogundehin is a British magazine editor, creative consultant, TV presenter and author.

She is well known for her writings and presentations on interior design.

Born in Manchester but raised in London, Michelle attended the Bartlett School of Architecture and graduated with a BA in 1989 and another degree in Architecture in 1993.

She then moved to Brighton, having visited for a weekend.

Since her move, she has been recognized for her influence by being included on the Powerlist of Influential Britons of Mixed Parentage on several occasions.

In 1997 she started working at ELLE Decoration UK and was appointed editor in 2004.

In 2002, she created her own creative consulting firm, MO:Studio.

Ogundehin has also written regularly for publications such as the Financial Times and The Observer.

In 2017, she left her position at HER decorations after 13 years.

Her first book, Happy Inside: How to Harness the Power of Home for Health and Happiness, was published in 2020.

What TV shows has Michelle been on?

Ogundehin has worked on a number of television shows, including presenting alongside Kevin McCloud on Grand Designs: House of the Year.

In 2016 she co-presented Channel 4’s Inside out Homes and BBC Two’s The Great Interior Design Challenge the following year.

In 2019, he started presenting as Chief Judge on Masters in Interior Design.

Is Michelle married and does she have children?

According to Michelle’s social media accounts, there are no signs that she has a husband.

On the face of it, she likes to keep her online presence very professional.

Although it appears the interior designer is not sharing any private information or photos online, she said she lives in Brighton with her two sons and Basset Hound dogs Stanley and Henry.

When is Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr on BBC?

The third series of Masters in Interior Design is set to launch on Wednesday 9 March 2022 at 9pm on BBC One.

Presenter Alan Carr returns with Michelle as head judge.

Guest judges include Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Mary Portas who return throughout the series.
